St Benedict’s College, also known as the Bennies campus, was jam-packed with festivities on March 9.
In conjunction with an open day, the college hosted the following sports events:
• Pre-season u-14 Hockey Festival of the Saints.
Bennies hosted all the Saint schools – St Stithians, St Alban’s, St John’s and St David’s – and a guest school from Nelspruit, Uplands College.
• The u-15 rugby boys played a pre-season rugby warm-up match against St Dunstan’s.
Inter-house touch rugby saw the Bennies houses compete against each other, where O’Leary and Mazenod teams tied in first place.
