Two 33-year-old suspects were arrested on the corner of Talisman and Nicol roads in the morning of January 15 in Bedfordview while in possession of a stolen vehicle and house break-in tools.
Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson Capt André de Jager said an intelligence operation was brought forward by the Provincial Specific Crime Unit.
“They managed to arrest two suspects for possession of a stolen vehicle that was stolen in Randburg at the beginning of the year,” said de Jager.

He said the suspects were driving around Bedfordview.
“The suspects will be charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of house break-in implements. An investigation will continue to determine whether they are linked to other crimes in Gauteng,” said de Jager.
He said the suspects will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
