Edenglen High welcomes new faces

The Grade Eights were led into the hall through a tunnel made by the school's leaders and teachers who gave a warm welcome to each learner.

With the start of the academic year, Edenglen High School welcomed it’s new Grade Eight learners to the school’s family.

On January 8 learners and parents waited outside the school hall in nervous anticipation of the beginning of an exciting adventure.

The Grade Eights were led into the hall through a tunnel made by the school’s leaders and teachers who gave a warm welcome to each learner.

Once in the hall Mr Dempsey and Mrs Pretorius gave an overview of the year ahead after which school leaders took the new Grade Eight group on a tour of the school, chanting war cries and singing songs.

The school wished the Grade Eights of 2019 well and success on their life-changing journey.
