Bedfordview High School learners, along with their parents, came out to collect their matric results on January 4.
Learners were eager to see just how well they passed matric, after already finding their names in the newspaper or online.
Busisiwe Nkosi came to collect her matric results with the support of her father Mmeli Sebeko.
Lorianne Kigue said that she was nervous the entire evening awaiting her results and could not sleep.
“This year I will be studying medicine,” said Kigue.
Kigue’s friend and fellow matriculant, Kavira Pandamali, said that this examination was bittersweet, as she lost her father the same time examinations were in progress.
She said that she had missed a few exams.
“I still managed to push through and I am very proud of myself,” said Pandamali.
