Jackknifed truck affects traffic on Herman Road

A truck which jackknifed in Meadowdale is affecting the flow of traffic along Herman Road.

The truck jackknifed in front of Makro Meadowdale earlier this morning and is affecting the flow of traffic in both directions.

Herman Road runs parallel to the R24.

It is expected that it will take between one and two hours to clear the road.

EMPD spokesperson Inspector Kobeli Mokheseng confirmed that the incident occurred.

“Officers are on their way to the site to conduct traffic control,” said Mokheseng.
