Staff at Little Eden Society took some time out for some team building and fun activities early last December.

The activities held over four days accommodated the 260 staff members at the society’s two facilities located in Edenvale and Bapsfontein.

CEO of the society, Xelda Rohrbeck, said the society places great value on the staff and volunteers for their work.

“Their commitment and dedication translate into respect, the sanctity of life and love and care for the residents.”

Staff took part in team building fun and games and were treated to gifts, delicious meals sponsored by Mastrantonio restaurant and Supercare Services Group (PTY) Ltd.

The result of the staff and volunteers’ commitment and dedication to the society was recently demonstrated during its annual Christmas concerts.

The concerts were both entertaining and tear-jerking at times as they allowed the residents the opportunity to share with the audience, through their learnt skills, the impact of suitable care.

The society provides 24/7 first-hand care to 300 children and adults.

Majority of the society’s residents has multiple physical disabilities and are wheelchair bound.

Some of the daily activities at the society include bathing, feeding, medical care and a stimulation programme.
