Heavenly songs from Edenvale singer

Each song on the album represents a theme of St Paul's life.

Bridget said the CD, Journey, is the second of a trilogy and reflects the life and journey of St Paul.

In previous years Bridget released Morning Star (2002), Arms of Grace (2005) and Yes (2016).

Yes was the first album of her trilogy and told the life of Jesus through the eyes of Mary, his mother.

“The support from the community and from my fans has been really good.”

Edenvale singer and songwriter Bridget Tinniswood will perform and host a gala event for the release of her fourth CD.

Bridget said each song on the Journey album represents a theme of St Paul’s life. It includes themes on the holy spirit, love and mentorship.

Bridget said the songs are based on the texts written by St Paul and her interpretations of them.

In order to create the new album, Bridget and her producer Douglas Hook have worked on it for the past two years.

“Douglas has really outdone himself on this album. I am very grateful for what he has done,” said Bridgette.

“With his creative abilities, he has made sure that the songs lead into each other.”

Bridget said her music will appeal to a wide audience.

She explained that some of the songs are upbeat while others are slower and calmer.

Bridget believes the young and the old will enjoy the new CD.

During her 13 years as a singer Bridgett has taken her musical talent across South Africa.

She has performed in Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal and across Johannesburg.
