Emergency services have confirmed that three trucks were set alight by striking workers in Isando this afternoon.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene shortly before 1pm.
DEMS spokesperson William Ntladi said the incident occurred on Monteer Street in Isando.
It is believed that striking workers threw petrol bombs at the trucks.

Firefighters from the Kempton Park, Boksburg, Primrose and Edenvale fire stations responded to the scene.
Ntladi added that all three trucks were completely burnt out.
“On arrival at the scene there were minor explosions caused by empty burning drums,” he said.
