ROBBERY CONFIRMED: Criminals in white Golf involved in Terrace Road robbery -VIDEO

Edenvale SAPS confirmed that an armed robbery took place at the corner of Terrace Road and Smith Avenue.

The victim of the robbery was on his motorcycle when he was held up and robbed of jewellery and his vehicle’s keys at the intersection.

SOS security officer, Garry Wilson, said the suspects were traveling in a white Golf GTI, however the victim believes they were traveling in a white Golf TSI. (Watch the video below)

It is believed between three to four suspects, armed with rifles and a pistol, were involved as they blocked the man’s path.

The man told the NEWS, he first realised he was being followed by a black BMW on the N3 highway while traveling from Germiston.

While traveling between the R25 offramp and Van Riebeek Avenue he lost sight of the BMW.

The man said he travelled down Terrace Road as it was busier than the R25 when he was held up and robbed.

The NEWS has received unconfirmed reports of a robbery at the intersection of Smith Street and Terrace Road in Edenvale.

According to information received the victim was allegedly forced off the road by an unknown number of suspects in a white Volkswagen Golf GTI.

It is believed that the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
