A 4-year-old girl was left in a critical condition on Sunday afternoon following a near-fatal drowning incident at a residence in Kensington.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly before 2pm and were greeted by the mother at the gate holding the child.
Paramedics assessed the girl and found that she was in a critical condition.

The girl was treated for her injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the girl was transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
