The Bedfordview SAPS has confirmed that a shooting has taken place in Bedfordview.
According to information received the incident occurred on Bradford Road.
UPDATE AT 12:46pm
Police officers have cordoned off one of the delivery entrances at Bedford Centre.
There is a heavy police presence in the immediate area.
Residents are advised to avoid the area.
