Learners put on a show for care centre residents

Learners recited poetry, sang songs, told jokes, danced and performed a musical play titled A World is Washed.

Rand Aid’s Ron Smith Care Centre celebrated the arrival of spring with a tea and a concert.

On September 4, residents and staff from the centre were treated to a special performance by Arrows Home School’s learners.

Learners recited poetry, sang songs, told jokes, danced and performed a musical play titled A World is Washed.

The musical was based on the story of Noah’s Ark.

At the tea, residents were given cake and muffins which they had made at the occupational therapy centre.

Residents and staff were delighted by the young children, who ranged from three years to nine years old.

The care centre thanked everyone who assisted with the play and the tea.
