The East Rand Orchid Society had their first Spring Expo at Greenstone Shopping Mall on September 1 and 2.

The show had bonsai, bromeliads, hoya and carnivorous plants to name a few.

The public could select from a variety of orchids and plants on sale.

The show first appeared at Flora Farm in East Rand Mall until it closed down.

Second Place winner in the Spring Orchid Show was a masdevallia by Chris Hammond.
