An operation conducted by Edenvale police officers resulted in the arrest of one suspect for the possession of drugs.
The suspect was arrested on August 30 during a crime prevention operation.

It was held on Van Riebeeck Avenue.
Edenvale Police Station station commander Col Sudesh Sookraj said officers stopped and searched vehicles during the operation.
He said police also recorded a number of traffic violations.
“The operation was held to show the police’s presence in the community,” said Sookraj.
“We want to assure the community that we are here to protect and serve them.”
