Two years ago, Colin organised a similar initiative down to Durban to raise funds and awareness about the foundation. Close to R40 000 was raised for the foundation.

On the day the cyclist set off Colin said everyone was feeling excited about the journey.

“The weather has been a lot nicer compared to the 2016 ride.”

The foundation, which was started a few years ago, hopes to create awareness about testicular cancer.

“Men often don’t talk about issues like this. They often hide it,” said Torsten.

“I started making cheeky posts on social media and the foundation grew from there.”

Torsten said in addition to cyclists, there are runners and other athletes who help create awareness.

The group of cyclists rode to create awareness for the Love Your Nuts Foundation.

In a speech made to everyone at the start of the journey, Torsten thanked them for their assistance.

“The foundation needs people like you men and women,” he said.

“At the moment the foundation is a one-man show but with your help, we can make it grow.”
