Bedfordview SAPS honors women for Women’s Day

Women motorists were grateful and humbled by the sweet gesture made by the Bedfordview SAPS.

Bedfordview SAPS surprised women driving in Bedfordview on August 8 with doughnuts in celebration of Women’s Day.

The Bedfordview SAPS, along with the Bedfordview Community Police Forum (BCPF), handed out the doughnuts, along with a special Women’s Day message.

Bedfordview SAPS were handing out doughnuts on Smit Street at Bedford Centre.

Women motorists were grateful and humbled by the sweet gesture made by the Bedfordview SAPS.

Bedfordview SAPS members who honoured woman were Capt André de Jager, Lt Col Eric Mhlango, Robert Netshivhera from Recreation, Warrant Officer Mduduzi Nhlabathi and Tyrone Clark from BCPF.

De Jager said that Bedfordview SAPS support no violence against women and children.

“We would like to wish all the special women out there a very happy Women’s Day,” said de Jager.

Doughnuts were sponsored by the BCPF.
