Edenvale’s well-known bakery, De Backery, has been serving the community tasty treats and savoury delights for the past 55 years.
The family bakery, which started in 1963, aims to provide good service and high-quality products to its customers.
It is easily identified by the large windmill on its roof.
De Backery offers a wide variety of goods to customers but the mini sausage roll is a community favourite.
Mark Verhoogt, owner of the bakery said the shop, which has grown from strength to strength, has a strong sense of community spirit.
Mark often tries to give back to the community where he can and improve the town of Edenvale.
