Good Things Guy and NetFlorist sweeten Thembalami’s Mandela Day

On Mandela Day, NetFlorist employees worked in teams to decorate 67 cakes, which were then delivered to various charity organisations in and around Johannesburg. One of the beneficiaries was Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre.

The residents of the Lombard East care centre, which incorporates the Max Ordman Deaf Association, were thrilled to have South Africa’s ‘Good Things Guy’ Brent Lindeque deliver their 10 beautifully decorated cakes.

A LeadSA Hero, who was selected as one of Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs and was also chosen as one of the Mail & Guardian’s Top 200 Young South Africans, he is dedicated to making a difference in society.

“The cakes were stunning. They were covered in chocolate hearts and lips, and a variety of bright sweets,” said Elize Raath, the Thembalami Care Centre manager.
