Giving back in the name of Madiba

The purpose was to raise money for disadvantaged children from Bez Valley.

Café J in Darras Centre held a Mandela Day pop up on July 21.

The purpose was to raise money for disadvantaged children from Bez Valley.

The money collected from the vendors will be donated to a chosen organisation in Bez Valley.

Customers were also encouraged to donate toys and books.

“I wanted to offer the vendors a chance to showcase their work because most of them don’t have shops.

“Also at the same time give back to the less fortunate,” said Jacquilene Blignaut Café J owner.

The vendors included fashion, arts and crafts, and homemade food.

“I would like to thank all those who came to support and contributed,” said Jacquilene.
