Glenoaks School in Kensington celebrated the spirit of the World Cup by hosting a soccer tournament for the learners on July 6.
The purpose of the day was to get the learners excited about the World Cup and allow them the opportunity to show off their soccer skills.
“Our learners don’t get to play sport because our school has no sports grounds. We have to use other facilities to play sports,” said coach Ivan Leo.

He said as a special needs school, their learners don’t get to play with mainstream schools. Learners had fun and parents enjoyed the day with them.
