Bertrams Junior School is inviting the community to support its June 16 inter sports day.
The aim of the day is about encouraging a healthy life.
The sports day will be held at Athlone Boys High School.
Six schools will participate. They are are Bertrams Junior, Eastgate Primary, Troyville Primary, Bedfordview Primary, Laerskool Kensington and IH Harris Primary.
The sports day is part of Bertrams Junior School’s fundraising project.
The goal is to raise R1-million.
“We invite the community to come and support us.”
“This is a family event that will benefit the whole family and it’s for a good cause,” said school principal Khanyi Twala.
Gates will be open at 8.30am and games will be played throughout the day.
