Cupcakes and Mass for Little Eden
Holy Mass was held at St Therese Catholic Church, where Domitilla and her husband, Danny, were parishioners for most of their lives.
Celebrations and cupcakes were the order of the day when Little Eden Society celebrated the 100th birthday of its late co-founder Domitilla Hyams.
The centenary celebrations held on May 7 saw staff and residents attend Holy Mass and eat baked treats donated by De Bakery.
Holy Mass was held at St Therese Catholic Church, where Domitilla and her husband, Danny, were parishioners for most of their lives.
“The Mass was also held to petition for the promotion of the cause towards the beatification of Danny and Domitilla,” said Nichollette Muthige, public relations and communications officer of the society.
