Bosch and Khumalo from Jeppe SAPS kick off retirement

Jeppe SAPS officers bid farewell to Warrant Officer Tobias Bosch and Captain Boy Khumalo at Valley View Lodge in Bez Valley on May 11.

Khumalo was a human resource practitioner at Jeppe SAPS.

He joined the SAPS in 1987 as a student constable at Durban Central SAPS.

“I did my police practical training at KwaMashu SAPS and progressed through the ranks until I took early retirement at Jeppe SAPS,” he said.

Bosch served 41 years in the SAPS.

He joined the SAPS as a constable and started working for the SAPS at Railway Police in Esselen Park.

In 1986, he was transferred to Jeppe when the SAPS was amalgamated.

“I worked at the charge office dealing with complaints for four months. That is where I gained experience as a police officer,” he said.

“The station bid farewell to the two and thanked them for their hard work and wish them well in their future endeavours. The station will miss them,” said the station’s Mongameli Nkomentaba.

Station commander Brigadier Thembi Kubone also attended the event.

She thanked the two officers for their dedication to the station and the community during their time at the station.
