A fire last night, May 13, in Sebenza has forced one business to close and damaged another as the inferno destroyed everything in its path.
The fire which spread through the industrial property last night destroyed buildings and numerous vehicles.
No deaths or serious injuries occurred.

When the NEWS visited the Aitken Road property this morning, smoke could be seen billowing out of VCP Industries’ collapsed building.
In some places, fires continued to burn as firefighters attended the scene.
Managing Director of VCP Industries, Donavan Stephens, said at 9.20pm he received an alert that the security alarm had gone off.
When he arrived in Sebenza at 9.50pm he saw the blazing building.
“When I arrived the fire department was already here trying to put out the fire,” said Stephens.
A firefighter from Boksburg Fire Station said he was made aware of the inferno at about 9.20pm last night.
Firefighters were unable to tell the NEWS where the fire started or what caused it.
When the NEWS left the property firefighters were still dousing the flames.
