Models had fun interacting with the crowd, showing off the latest fashion trends to residents at the home.
Residents of Methodist Homes Arbor Village in Bedfordview were treated to a Winter Fashion Show on April 17.

Milady’s Bedford Centre store manager Danika Timcke gave Arbor Village residents details on the latest fashion trends for mature older women from 40 plus years of age.
She explained durability of the clothing items while residents asked her questions about the clothing range.

A number of residents from Arbor Village modelled for the day such as Lillian Reyneke and Kathy Kingsman who both loved being models for the fashion show.
Ninety-seven-year-old Joan Richardson, who modelled with a walking stick, hopes she starts a new model trend.
Anne Thompson said she absolutely enjoyed modelling.
“I enjoyed it. It is the first time in my life I am a model,” said Jess Beyers.
Models had fun interacting with the crowd, showing off the latest fashion trends to residents at the home.
“The show was lovely. It was my first modelling show experience,” said Shireen Padagachee, who watched the show from the front row.
Denise Stanton, manager at Arbor Village, said that this is one of the many events the home organises for their residents.
She said they had a good turnout, and that this is a great way to give residents new fashion ideas and tips.
