The Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA) has announced its partnership with the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

“We are delighted to be partnering with the RISA on the nominees launch for the SAMA24,” said CoE executive mayor, Clr Mzwandile Masina.

“The CoE believes that the creative economy holds massive potential for job creation for the youth and investment attraction. Hosting the nominees launch will position the city as a go-to destination for musicians and artists alike.

On April 19, the nominees for the 24th annual South African Music Awards (SAMA24) will be announced at an event in Ekurhuleni.

“This partnership is a perfect fit. The CoE is known for giving South Africa some of the biggest names in music and the arts in general,” said Masina.

“It’s going to be a spectacular night with industry heavyweights and best of luck to all the entrants,” said RISA CEO Nhlanhla Sibisi.
