WATCH: Edenvale father’s heart-wrenching appeal to find missing son Darren Cowie (28)

Tony Cowie, Darren's father has appealed to the community for any information on the whereabouts of his son. “We just want to know that our son is alright.”

Tony Cowie, the father of missing Darren Cowie (28), has appealed to the community for any information on the whereabouts of his son.

Darren who has been missing since April 5 was last seen when he left his parent’s Insandovale home to go to the Bedfordview Virgin Active.

He was last seen wearing an olive-green jacket, grey tracksuit pants, a t-shirt and red shoes.

Darren was driving a red Ford Fiesta, registration number DP 01 CD GP.

“If anyone has information please get in touch with us,” said Tony.

“We just want to know that our son is alright.”

  •  When a person goes missing there is no waiting period to report the individual missing.
  •  Time is an extremely important factor in a missing-persons case.
  •  It is the responsibility of a parent or caregiver to know the whereabouts of any child in their care at all times.
