Bedfordview SAPS investigations result in Mkhize getting 15 years for 2015 stabbing

An eyewitness alleged she saw Mkhize stab the victim with a knife.

Sizwe Mkhize has been convicted and sentenced at the Germiston Regional Court on March 19 to 15 years, with the option of no fine.

Mkhize was convicted for a crime committed in May 2015 after he stabbed a victim.

The incident occurred in Elands Street in Elandsfontein.

An eyewitness alleged she saw Mkhize stab the victim with a knife.

He was later identified by an eyewitness, who noticed bruises on his face, where he was beaten by the community.

The victim was taken to Germiston Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Mkhize was taken to Tembisa Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

The case was investigated by Warrant Officer Willie Madishe from Bedfordview SAPS.
