New and popular Horwood’s Farm Family market returns in April
"Funds collected will be used to beautify the park to its former glory,"
Following the success of the first Horwood’s Farm Family Market, a second market will be held at the farm on April 8.
With the support of the organisers Charlene Jacobson and Michelle van Scheltema, the community and local ward councillors the April market hopes to be even bigger than the March market.

On the day market-goers can look forward to children’s entertainment, food trucks, live entertainment and market stalls.
Proceeds of the market will go towards the restoration of Horwood’s Farm.
Entrance to the market will cost R20 per car and R10 per walk-in adult.
“Funds collected will be used to beautify the park to its former glory,” said Charlene and Michelle.
Residents are encouraged to attend the market and to “take back their park”.
The market will be held at Horwood’s Farm on April 8 between 10am and 4pm.
