Writers 2000 will host renowned writer Melissa Davidson at its next meeting.
The meeting will be held on March 24 and those attending are urged to arrive at 1.30pm for 2pm.
Melissa is a writer, editor, trainer, business owner and plain-language practitioner with over 15 years’ experience in corporate communications and marketing.
Most of her corporate experience has been in financial services and information technology, industries known for their complexity and jargon.
She has a BA Hons and MBA and has gained extensive experience in using the principles of plain language to write and edit different forms of content.
She also dabbles in document formatting and runs courses on using MS Word.
Together with her business partner, Jumari Ferreira, Melissa runs Superscript, a small content agency that provides a range of language and communication services for businesses.
The meeting will be held at Inyoni Creek Club House, Rand Aid Complex at the corner of Modderfontein and Wordsworth roads.
