Hurlyvale Primary School collects water for animal shelters in need

"It was a real team effort."

Hurlyvale Primary School collected close to 6 000 litres of water for animal shelters in Cape Town.

Graeme Mitchley, deputy principal of the school, said learners formed a human chain to carry the water from the school’s hall to the delivery truck.

“It was a real team effort,” said Mitchley.

He thanked the Hurlyvale community for all their support.
