“I grew up writing short stories at Empangeni in KwaZulu Natal. I always had a dream of seeing my work being published but due to a lack of resources, it did not happen. I did not give up on writing. In 2015 I started writing #Hope – A New Way of Thinking and the book was finally launched in 2016. Seeing the launch of #Hope – A New way of Thinking has been a dream come true,” he said.

#Hope – A New Way of Thinking contains stories about motivation and self-healing.

Ntombela said the love of books was instilled by his late mother who read a wide variety of books throughout her life.

“My mother used to read stories for us every day. She always wanted me to become a teacher but it did not happen. I wrote a book to honour her instead,” he said.

The book targets everyone.

“There is no age restriction as it talks about hope and self-healing.”

Ntombela is currently studying at ICDL Africa.

“I am doing my fourth year. My book was launched in Canada Brampton by Anita Sechesky in December 2016. It is available on amazon.com. People can connect with me on Facebook,” he said.

He encouraged upcoming authors to work hard to achieve their goals.
