Yeoville SAPS arrested a 26-year-old suspect in connection with a murder that took place in 2016.

The suspect was arrested at Hyde Park on February 27.
Spokesperson for the station Captain Sifiso Mabizela said police officers received a tip-off about a wanted suspect who has been on the run since November 2016. “The suspect allegedly killed a man by stabbing him several times and injuring one person following an argument at a drinking place,” he said.
He is expected to appear in court soon while the police investigation continues.
