Sebenza SAPS arrested a man following a business robbery that took place in Sebenza on January 13.

Sebenza SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Sharon Tsotsotso, said the incident occurred at a scrapyard in Sebenza.

“When employees arrived in the morning to open for business, they found a Polo vehicle parked outside the premises with four men inside. One of the men produced what looked like a police badge and requested to search the premises for copper. Once inside, the men pointed a gun at the three employees and robbed them of their cellphones, but they did not get money as there was no cash on the premises,” said Tsotsotso.
