BEZ VALLEY – My family was poor and could not afford to give us anything for Christmas.

Benjamen said the idea of hosting a Christmas party was to give children an early Christmas gift.

“Every child looks forward to Christmas and we as Hannah’s Hope Foundation decided to have a Christmas party every year. I wanted to make the kids feel special and loved,” she said.

Benjamen said she did not receive any Christmas gifts when she was still young.

Children had fun during the Christmas party hosted by Hannah’s Hope recently.

“My family was poor and could not afford to give us anything for Christmas. My Christmas was always a sad one because I saw other children celebrating it. I never experienced a Christmas party as a child and wanted the children in Bez Valley and surrounds not to go through what I went through,” she said.
