Yeoville SAPS arrested 29 suspects from November 20 to 28.
The suspects were arrested for committing crimes ranging from murder to assault and robbery.
The arrests included:
• One for murder.
• Two for armed robbery.
• Six for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
• Two for common assault.
• One for driving under the influence of liquor or drugs.
• Three for shoplifting.
• Six for possession of drugs.
• One for possession of suspected stolen property.
• One for theft.
“The suspects have appeared in different courts, some have paid their fines while others are out on bail and others remain in prison,” said spokesperson for Yeoville SAPS, Capt Sifiso Mabizela. Contact Yeoville Police Station on 011 487 5900.
