The 2017 Miss and Mr Edenvale competition was recently held at the Edenvale Community Centre giving participants of all ages the chance to win a title.
The competition on August 12 showcased the wonderfully talented models of Edenvale.
Jackie Allen of House of Style Models said the judges had their work cut out for them.
However, after much deliberation, the 2017 winners were crowned and received “awesome prizes from the very generous sponsors”.
Judges at the event were: Mark Muller, Marion Anderson, Kendra Saunders, Shelby Moura and Charmaine Ronne.
The event was run by Ilse Shawinsky while singer Kelly Winter performed for the crowd.
At the end of the day 10 winners were announced in the different categories.
The winners were:
•Jasmine Mendes who won the title of Mrs Edenvale.
•Jacques Botha who was crowned Mr Edenvale.
•Tayla Steyn was crowned Miss Edenvale.
• Declan Webb won the Mr Junior Edenvale title.
• Amy Storey, winner of the 16-18 category.
• Lekisha Munro, winner of the 13-15 category.
• Sasha-Leigh Daniel, winner of the 10-12 category.
• Jade Steyn, winner of the seven to nine category.
• Rylie van Deventer, Winner of the three to six category.
• Shakyla Venter was awarded the title Baby of Edenvale.
