Holy Rosary High School recently held its inter-house athletics event where learners gave it their all and were rewarded for the performances.
At the event the following learners received awards:
• Melissa Rattray of the winning house, Lourdes, was the best in senior field events and was announced as the senior Victrix Ludorum.
• Jamie Claasen received an award for the fastest 80m hurdles time, best senior short distance winner and the best senior middle distance winner, a title she shared with Francesca Wesson.
• Grace Morgan of Fatima House was awarded the Spirit Cup.
• Jamie McKenzie received an award for the best junior middle distance winner.
• Sinéad Meyer was given an award for the best junior field events winner, best junior short distance winner and the Junior Victrix Ludorum.
• Gabriella Maraschin, Renata Maraschin, Sarah Kwan, and Danica Roppa of house Lourdes received awards for the fastest u-16 relay team.
