Johannesburg designer Samantha Peck is once again on the go for Thembalami Care Centre.
A vital part of the Infinitude Design team, Sam has competed in a number of sporting events to raise awareness and funds for the Rand Aid care centres that look after vulnerable senior citizens and aged deaf and deaf-blind people.
The Sandton-based company has been involved with Thembalami since 2012 as its part of its corporate social investment programme.
“By continually supporting and improving the interiors and facilities at the centre in Lombardy East, we have successfully managed to create some amazing spaces, making the home more comfortable and inspiring for all of its aged residents,” said Sam.
This year, Sam and her team will again be raising funds by participating in the FNB Joburg 10km City Run on September 24, 2017.
They hope to refurbish the care centre’s dining room area, which is where meals are served and social occasions hosted.
