Bedfordview SAPS confirmed a man (57) was shot four times in Bedfordview this morning.
Captain Andre de Jager confirmed to the NEWS that a 57-year-old man was shot in the parking area of KFC Bedfordview near Bedford Centre earlier this morning. The reason for the shooting is unknown.
He said a total of eight shots were fired by an unknown number of suspects.
“Four bullets fired from a 9mm gun, hit the man,” said de Jager.
The man was transported to Union Hospital by paramedics from ER24.
Suspects fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Caddy.
