This is a great opportunity to recycle your old cards and postcards and clear out your drawers and cupboards of unused odds and ends.

Kendra Neethling, the occupational therapist at the Rand Aid rehabilitation centre, welcomes donations of wool, ribbon, craft paint and glue, glitter, pencil or wax crayons.

“Basically we need anything that is still in working order, so please raid your children’s stationery drawers for items they no longer use,” she said.

For more information, call Kendra on 011 430 0320. You can also ‘like’ Wedge Gardens on Facebook www.facebook.com/WedgeGardensTreatmentCentre or follow them on Twitter @WedgeGardens.
