Bedfordview Clinic closed until tomorrow

The closure is to make way for the replacement of the skylights, repair of roof leakages and structural damage

The Ekurhuleni Metro announced a temporary closure of the Bedfordview clinic.

The closure will be in effect until tomorrow, September 6.

According to metro spokesman, Themba Gadebe, the closure is to make way for the replacement of the skylights, repair of roof leakages and structural damages.

“Services at the clinic will not be able to continue during the period of maintenance. Alternative arrangements are being made so that primary health care services are still accessible during this period,” explained Gadebe.

Gadebe said two mobile clinics will render basic health services such as immunisation and collection of chronic medicines.

“Patients requiring more extensive services will be referred to Edenvale, Wannenburg and Germiston clinics.”
