Modelling – a confidence booster for your children

Having a modelling career is what you make of it and how far you want to take it.

Registering your child for a modelling school has many benefits.

Modelling is not only about pageantry but helps build a child’s confidence, poise and posture and teaching them to accept themselves for who they are.

At Younique we specialise in all forms of modelling including catwalk, photographic work, pageantry, acting and commercial as well as public speaking and etiquette.

Younique is a family and models are encouraged to get involved in the community and participate in charity work.

Edenvale Younique franchise owner, Casey De Witt, is currently studying a BCom degree in corporate communication.

De Witt also holds a modelling teachers certificate, judges certificate as well as an international course certificate in modelling.

“Growing up I was a shy, introverted child who could not stand up in front of the class to do a prepared speech.

“About three years ago I decided to go along with a friend to her modelling class. I could not believe the confidence these young girls and boys had. I was hooked and so my modelling career started,” De Witt said.

Having a modelling career is what you make of it and how far you want to take it.

There are many opportunities available to travel overseas and compete in the international pageants as well as being used locally in TV commercials, clothing photo shoots, new product advertising and fashion shows.

De Witt holds the titles of Miss Teen Gauteng 2016/17, Miss JNR Queen of the World 2017 and a Miss Africa 2017/18 finalist.

Her motto in life is FortiNihilDiffilcilius which means nothing is too difficult for the brave.
