A breakfast fit for kings
"At the breakfast guests had an opportunity to interact with some of the Little Eden residents who attended the event,"
Supporters gathered on August 3 for a fundraising breakfast hosted by Investec to celebrate Little Eden’s 50th anniversary and to acknowledge the women who care for the residents.

The breakfast, which was held in Sandton, saw Phemelo Mutene, Radio 702 presenter and actress, take charge of the event as the master of ceremonies.
Guest speaker, Prof Ermos Nicolaou, addressed the gathering and shared interesting insights into the “ethical dilemmas and considerations in obstetrics.”
In his talk, Nicolaou said the society has a justice-based obligation to look after its disabled residents and maximise their potential.
Funds raised through the breakfast will go towards the care of the 300 children and adults at Little Eden Society.
“At the breakfast, guests had an opportunity to interact with some of the Little Eden residents who attended the event,” said Nichollette Muthige, public relations and communications officer for the society.
She thanked Steven Koseff and the team at Investec Bank Limited for all their assistance in hosting the event.
