Maxton family expresses gratitude
MAX GOODMAN PARK – Family receives community's help after fire
The Maxton family from Max Goodman Park would like to express their gratitude to local community members and businesses after they received donations to renovate their house.
The family’s house was damaged in a fire earlier this year.
Desmond Maxton said he is happy that everything is back to normal.
“After the fire, we didn’t have a place for the children to sleep,” said Maxton.
He said people donated building materials, a bath, toilet and basin.
“I am very grateful and I would like to thank everyone who made this possible. I would like to thank the EXPRESS and its readers for their support,” said Maxton.
