The school’s marketing co-ordinator Lynn Walker said students enjoyed the rare opportunity of engaging with professionals in a field that they may one day go into themselves.

“The College’s biennial Sacred Arts Festival celebrates the arts, and acknowledges the crucial role that creativity and personal expression play in the development and all-round education of our students. Learners were invited to print their names and place of origin onto wooden tags. These tags will be attached to a huge compass and put on display outside the Social Sciences classroom,” said Walker.

Walker said outings were planned to the Joburg Theatre and to various galleries, including Goodman gallery, Circa and Everard Read galleries as well as to the Artists Proof Studio.
