Our Place Pub in Edenvale recently hosted a competition and collection day for the Edenvale SPCA.
Participants took part in a potjie competition as well as a number of lucky draws.
Overall the event raised R11 000 for the Edenvale SPCA.
Along with the substantial financial donation, patrons also donated a bakkie load of food, toys, blankets and more.
The donated money and goods were handed to the SPCA on July 11.
The day’s prizes were donated by Essential Aromas/Kelly’s Cove Day Spa, Di-Namic Hair, Renovatio Skin and Beauty Clinic, Hair by Bel & Tash and Hair by Karen.
A trophy for the potjie winner and plaque for Our Place were donated by Tao Designer Glass.
Our Place hopes to make this event an annual one.
