Bedfordview SAPS responded to a call of a man found dead in his car late Friday night near Van der Linde Road in Bedfordview.
“Once on scene police officers found an elderly white man inside his car with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services,” said Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson Captain Andre de Jager.
A murder docket was opened by the Bedfordview SAPS.
“A Postmortem will be done to confirm the cause of death,” said De Jager
