City Power has announced an emergency power outage in Ward 73 from 10pm tonight to 6am tomorrow morning.
The utility will work on the Kelvin substation which feeds power to the grid from Eskom. About 30 000 households will be affected.
“Note that there may be localised power faults after the outage caused by surges. Please log these online with citypower.mobi – give them at least six hours to respond to your outage before escalating to me with your name, cell, address, cpweb ref number and problem,” said Eleanor Huggett, Ward 73 councillor.
