Wooligans knitting for Mandela Day

Notes will be attached to the scarves urging people to take a scarf if the they are cold.

Edenvale’s Wooligans were found hard at work on July 1, in their efforts to ensure the warmth of others.

The Wooligans, who are part of the 67 Blankets for Mandela Day initiative, meet every Saturday at Karaglen Shopping Centre.

The group of eight were knitting and crocheting scarves and blankets for their Mandela Day project.

Andrea Henderson of the Edenvale Wooligans said on July 13, the group will hang scarves around Edenvale for Mandela Day.

Notes will be attached to the scarves urging people to take a scarf if they are cold.
